On Absentee Managers and Supervisors

Desperate to find replacement workers after countless mining disasters, a company manager hired a group of cannibals.

At a briefing, the manager told the newly-hired cannibals to get food from the B2 level cafeteria if they are hungry.

"You can have soup, burgers, meat, fish, fruits and vegetables but don't bother with people," the manager reminded the cannibals.

Weeks and months passed without any incident. However on the fourth month Ugo the mail delivery clerk went missing. The manager confronted the cannibals but they denied eating Ugo.

When the manager left, the leader of the cannibals sternly scolded one of his men who admitted to the crime. He calmly reminded the group by saying, "We were fine having managers and supervisors because no one notices if they don't show up for work. But why eat the mailman? Now, everyone noticed someone is missing."
